  1. Hi, I have hyperthyroidism (Grave's Disease) and it is totally treatable - it can affect fertility, but once treatment has been completed most people's fertility returns to normal.

Taking medications to slow it down was the best thing I ever did - it stopped the massive weight loss, anxiety, diarrhoea, palpitations and heat intolerance.

Everyone notices a big difference in me now that I am taking my medication - and I am happy.

Everything returned to normal for me after treatment.

I learned the hard way, hyperthyroidism is not to be messed with - I ended up in hospital, thinking I was having a heart attack through not taking my medication because I loved the weight loss this condition gave.

It's not worth the risk - if you have this and it is left untreated then you will have big problems with all bodily functions - been there.
