Hypnosis for health?

I have heard that hypnosis works for all things, will it help loose weight, and do workouts, healthy eating, would one be able to be hypnotized to do these things and if so how much would it cost. seriou answersplease

  1. I feel that it won't help.  I tried it years ago, but only twice.  

    To lose weight, I would suggest:

    1. a positive thinking tape or cd that you should listen to at least once a day

    2. Walk every day for at least 20 min.  All walking counts, even at the mall, or Costco.

    3. I have 3 relatives who have been obese for over 20 yrs who have slimmed down with Weight Watchers.  OR  

    4. Design your own diet.  Find low calorie things you really like and make a plan.  Often you can find something really satifying.  For me, it is Ice Coffee at 4pm.  

    5.. At night, you often mistake thirst for hunger.  Low calorie cranberry juice can be very satisfying.

    6. If you just diet every other day, you still will lose weight.  The normal amount you eat will start to seem like too much.

    I lost 12 lbs slowly, over the course of several months,  If i lost another 8, I would be perfect : )


  2. sorry but hypnosis will do somethings but not everything by a long shot.

  3. It works but it isn't a quick fix. It takes time.  Costs can vary depending on the area but generally a hypnotherapist can cost as much as a regular doctor.

    If you want to try it, download some free hypnosis mp3's and listen to them for a few weeks to see how you feel. If you decided to seek a professional, make sure they're qualified  and board certified

Hypnosis works only if you truely want to lose weight.  Hypnosis can also help you find out why you might have failed in your effots to lose weight before or why you always gain it back......." limiting beliefs". Yes, workouts, healthy eating, new inner dialoge and new attitude will help your success at losing weight. I alway give my clients "homework".
