Correct me if I'm wrong, but was it not John McCain who criticized Obama for being more of a celebrity a few weeks ago, and now his VP pick is on countless tabloid covers this week?

She lacks experience, she has no track record with international politics, she is lacking in national affairs, the list goes on and on.

Just compare her with Obama and Biden.

The GOP handed the press a world wind of stories.  If Obama did the same, you can bet the press would be on that like stink on you know what.

The press did a damned fine job in derailing Kerry by over reporting on the Swifties.  I'll bet no one here knows that Kerry was trying to get across to the electorate that he wanted to have a Manhattan type project to ween ourselves off of foreign oil.  That got virtually no press and look at where we are now.

h**l, were ready to go head to head with Russia over Georgia.  I'm no fan of Pat Buchanan, but in the article he wrote he makes one h**l of a lot of sense.

Can you imagine Palin being at the switch when McCain croaks?

There is a distinct difference between deliberately putting yourself out there (Berlin speech) and the media choosing to smear a candidate.  Its not like Palin asked the tabloids to put her on the covers of their papers and magazines, but Obama invited the press to follow him.

No he was implying that Obama was nothing but a celebrity.  Palin, although she has no experience in foreign affairs has experience in politics.  His argument is that Obama has neither.

Yes but not as a celebrity. The democrats are trying to paint her as a negative figure attacking her personally. If every parent was judged by what they're teenager did, half of us would be in trouble. Barack Osama on the other hand, is painted with some sort of crazy cult like following which by way Hitler had as he rose to power.

Difference is  Obama welcomed it with open arms and was given Positive media coverage..  

Where as Palin has been hit with nothing but negative reporting and has not embraced it at all.

She's not a celebrity like Obama, She's a target for the Liberal media and that's what they are doing.
