Hypocritici Indians?

well, before i ask, lemme tell u i am myself an India..so plz dont take it as a ranting or anything like that...i just wanted to ask u, isnt it about time that most of our population should come out of their caves and leave behind the dark age living?whats wrong with cheerleaders,whats wrong with big money??i dont think (n so do most ppl)that the cheerleaders are NUDe..they r dressed just like cheerleaders have always been..so plz get over it n open up ur minds..n as for money,when the sponsors themselves are comfortable with their hiring costs, whats the fuss with u then??

The Indian youth will not have problems as they are much open to such things however the older generation still doesn't approve of such western culture being brought in India.

Even my mom reacted to the news that cheerleaders are going to be banned in Mumbai, saying that its good that they are taking such a step.

I love the cheerleaders and am happy with the huge moneys being exchanged between the parties involved in the IPL - cricket, just like every major sport (NBA Basketball, UK Football Premiership, NFL Football) is a major business - and business means exchanging money! Also, sponsors pay the funds as they themselves get the recognition and promotion as well.

I think the problem people have with cheerleaders as the moment is that some people are having issues getting to grips with the skimpier clothing they are wearing (they were a bit more dressed in the T20 WC). This is normal (maybe too dressed) in America, where most of the fine ladies are from but maybe just a culture shock at the moment. I think, give it time and people will get used to it. I mean, they have fantastic bodies and the 'main parts' are covered - nothing wrong with that if they are happy doing it (and you can see they genuinely enjoy cheer-leading).

I agree man. Just because we LIKE cheerleaders don't make us unpatriotic.

Its not the younger generation that has a problem with this. Its the jobless Uncles & Aunties who have nothing to do. So they keep on doing something to gain popularity and keep themselves occupied. And they bark so much about values and cultures. Well then, where is culture gone when Mallika Sherawat comes on screen? These uncles jolly-well "stand" and applaud the entertainment in private but they just can't see someone else doing the same. Is this a democracy or a f*cking fiefdom?

I pity these oldies. Regressive, Conservative, Hyper-active retards !
