how does one find out the P-value when significance level is not provided with the problem. How do you obtain this?

  1. P value should be given, or confidense factor should be mentioned


  2. The p-value is the probability of observing another sample in greater disagreement with the null hypothesis than the sample already observed.  If the p-value is less than the significance level the you accept the alternate, otherwise the null is considered plausible.  Knowing the significance level is not needed to find a p-value.
