Hypothetical question: You, your best female friend and best male friend are in the middle of the sea in an?

inflatable boat. Imagine your real friends in real life in your mind before you read the next para.

Suddenly all but one compartment of the boat got torn and both your friends are in the water. The part of the boat can carry one more person. You have only two choices - all three of you die or two of you survive on the salvaged part of the boat.

Who will you pick? What is your gender?

There are too many factors that go into this answer. 2 would be in the raft and one in the water somehow attached or hanging on to the raft. We'd have to take turns in the water until help arrived.

I can't say I would save one or the other, and because I couldn't choose I'd rather just be the one to volunteer to go.

All the answers that say, "I would let my friends live and I would jump in and die..." Wow you really don't think your fight or flight instinct would kick in?? I would save my male friend because men are stronger, usually, and I would want someone that could paddle, swim, fish, etc. Plus what if we get stuck on an island, who ya gonna wanna bang?? LOL

Female... and I'd pick my female best friend because if I let her die I would feel really awful about myself for the rest of my life.

My male best friend is probably pretty good at swimming and thus we might be able to take turns.

id pull them both back in...id put the lighter one on my d**n lap if i had too.  and the other one could wrap thier arms around me to hold on ,im strong...and my legs are long..and it wouldnt be the first time i had to put someone on my lap ( male or female) in a crowded situation.

ppl may not think it is possible...but it would be...you did say that the boat could hold one more person...if it can..then why cant I have the other person on my lap to save them too?

I would pull my friends up to the boat to survive and I would jump in the water to die.  Then again, one of my friends can hold on to me while the boat moves...who knows?  Female

Let's say we all have to survive right!? The Boat can take  two. So I take the girl first,tell the homie to swim, when he is tired, we gonna switch, I will swim, when am tired the girl will have to take the dip. That way we will relax and  survive... the hard way, thinking that we have no sharks and stuff.

I would pick my female friend. For Three reasons:

1. All my male friends would do the same!! So why be a sucker?

2. My female friend would probably save me over her girlfriend

3. Dangerous situations are when women get horny. I'd rather be alone with a girl than with another guy.
