She carries the baby to term and then murders it after its birth. Which evil was the greatest in this situation:

A-the abortion clinic not being provided to her

B-her decision to murder the child

Is she any less of a murderer in this situation?

  1. Killing a fetus isn't murder, biologically or legally. The abortion clinic were wrong to deny her. But she could have looked into ways of getting an abortion wuch as using neem oil.

  2. Good question. Well, her murdering her child after birth because she could have dropped the child off at a hospital or fire station.

  3. why cant she just put it up for adoption? why kill?

  4. She's no less a murderer in this situation than if she were to have gone to an abortion clinic, Good question, makes you think, if you had to do it yourself how the opinions would change.

  5. hypothetical answer - she spontaneously aborts the fetus.  end of story.

  6. There is no "less- evil". Murder is murder. Just as stealing is stealing. Either way, if the woman was responsible in the first place her situation wouldn't be as such. People need to start taking responsibility for their actions and stop trying to be victims of their own stupid choices. When you choose to have s*x, your choosing to be a parent. If your too stupid to understand the connection you should be sterilized and shipped to an isolated island with the rest of the idiots.

  7. More frequently, unwanted children are often abused, neglected or even worse, prostituted, by parents who did not wish to bring their pregnancy to term but didn't have the means or chance to make a better decision for all.

More infrequently, there are reports on the news of bodies of newly born babies who are found in the trash.  Those bodies are the few that are found, so I am expecting the actual number of unwanted full term babies who were literally tossed out to be far greater than reported.

It's a sad statement when parents and children are placed in situation that need not exist.  Some people do not want to have children and should be allowed to make a responsible decision not to bring a pregnancy to term.  At times, there may be some underlying genetic malformaty that causes an issue about the quality of life.  I don't believe that it is for anyone but the individuals immediately affected by a pregnancy who should be allowed to make a decision in the privacy of their home and under the care of a properly qualified physician.

  8. Don't you think she would seek C --an alternative end to her pregnancy?  Women have been quietly using herbal methods for thousands of years.    Of course, many of them lost their own lives in the process....

Edit:  S class, if that were true, how do you explain the fact that almost 90% of abortions occur in the first trimester and less than 1% take place in the third trimester?  It seems to me pro-choice people have a much better understanding of fetal development than their pro-life counterparts.

  9. No, she's no less of a murderer. In most U.S. states, she could have dropped the baby off at a hospital or police station, no questions asked.

It's a crime that many women have no access to abortion clinics, but it's not an excuse to murder a newborn baby.

  10. the death through abortion would still be horribe..but the idea of the baby only 5 weeks old and still very small and the procedure wouldnt seem as significant ..as actually having the baby and hearing it cry as you kill it, cuz it would take longer and watching something helpless like that is heartbreaking for me to even imagine. i would definately look at her worse if she did B .

  11. I had this same question after I saw an episode of Law and Order, where a young couple induced an early birth and then strangled the baby. That is absolutely horrible, though not because of the murder.

The point of abortion is so that the woman is not forced to go through the stress and pain of pregnancy and childbirth. Once she has gone through those things, to kill the baby instead of putting it up for adoption is murder. It's probably easier to drop it in front of a church than kill it, because if they find a live baby they put it in an orphanage, but if they find a dead one, you're in trouble.

  12. No, she's still a murderer.  Why did she have to kill the child?  why couldn't she take it to a hospital?

  13. After the 24week limit it would rightly be considered murder.

But in areas where there are no abortion clinics, many women either travel to find one, or they get a "backstreet" abortion which can lead to many complication due to lack of proper medical training and lack of hygiene.

So in an individual case of infanticide, the woman is more "evil". But overall, the lack of proper medical care and facilities is more "evil" because it could lead to many deaths and much misery for thousands of people.

  14. Unless she or the fetus are known to be ill or impaired, or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest, or she is too young to safely give birth, I believe that she should have the baby and then have him adopted.

  15. No. Whether she kills the baby with her own hands or hires a professional to kill it for her (which is, in essence, what an abortion is - hiring someone who is a pro at killing babies to kill yours for you), either way she sought the death of her child. Either way we have a dead baby because mommy wanted it dead. I think it is murder either way, but abortion is socially acceptable murder so people will not be so bothered by it as they will about her killing a full-term child.

  16. Good question.  Pro-Choice people seem to think that there is some sort of difference between a child a minute before it's born and a minute after it comes out.  The only differences is two minutes.

  17. both ways are murdering the child... no matter what you do, what she should have done was have the child and if she didn't want the child to leave it at the hospitil. They ask no questions AND they find a good sutible family who will love nad cherish the child.
