China would be the safest from China's nukes - DUH! But, that would also be the most vulnerable place for the United States nukes.  So the safest place to be from both places nukes is the moon, then prob. Antartica, then Australia.

Wherever the nuke isn't going off.  If you get caught anywhere near a certain distance of the explosion, your dead.  And if by some miracle you survive, the resulting radiation will kill you.

But don't expect China to be fighting the U.S anytime soon.  After all, America IS China's biggest customer.  Would you shoot the man buying a BMW from you?

Somewhere that's not a target.  Antarctica would work.

Podunk, USA would be safe from the blasts themselves, as China does not have enough nukes to lay waste to the entire country.

The fallout is up to the weather and could hit anywhere.

If America ever went to war with China, especially if it was a nuclear war, I guarantee you every other major power on the planet would be involved. You wouldn't be safe anywhere...hypothetically. Then, again, Saint O down there ↓ has a point.
