  1. I'm sure if something happened to a VP pick, the candidate would be able to choose another one.

Personally, I think Mrs. Palin needs to focus on her entire family, say thanks but no thanks, and take them home.  Her family needs her far more than Senator McCain does....

  2. She was the ,mayor of a town with less then 2000 buildings in it ,am I the only one who has a problem with that.

  3. I doubt he would make a change.  He doesn't want to admit he made a rash choice  If Gov Palin has to drop out for "family concerns", I think Romney will get the call.  I wonder what he would say?!

I don't think this would happen unless another bombshell drops.

  4. Macain knew he won't won.. so there is not suiside.. he just wants to make some news, maybe he gets more dummy's to vote for him.

  5. He won't get rid of Palin. She's an excellent choice and he'd lose too much face to bow out of his selection now.

  6. It would problem lessen his credibility if he started jumping from VP to new VP in the face of small scandals. Honestly, a lot of voters might think his response to Palin's situation is indicative of how he handles tough situations. Considering that he just picked her, it would be unwise of him to waffle onto another. A candidate picks his or her VP because they believe that they can effectively boost their administration as a President. The choice to have her drop out would have voters thinking that he was either never aware of her situation or was unsure of her capability as VP to begin with, begging the question as to why he picked her from the start.
