Im married to a Mexican and we are living in Mexico. What all do I send in with the I 130? Do i send the $355 with the forms to Chicago? Can I send the forms to Cuidad Juarez?

How long do I wait and when will my husband be allowed to enter the US? We are going so that my baby can be born there in December.

  1. Yak Rider is right. but you can't send the forms, you'll have to go in person. contact the embassy or the consulate in Ciudad Juarez to see about filing directly. check out usembassy.state.gov for the contact information.

  2. You live in Mexico.  You file in Mexico, not Chicago.  This is called Direct Consular Filing.  Only Americans living in a foreign country can do this.  Everyone else files with the USCIS.

Read the instructions carefully.  You'll need proof of your citizenship,  A certified copy of your marriage certificate, etc...

If you've been married more than 2 years on the date your husband enters the USA he'll get an IR-1 visa and a I-551 stamp in his passport.  He'll get his green card in a couple months.
