  1. Go to the financial aid department of any college or university and pick up their financial aid packets - free - fill them out and send them in - think about community colleges, which are cheaper -- google Pell Grants and you may be able to apply on line -- don't give up --

  2. Hi there, I'm not sure about how you could study around work it all depends on whether the college/uni you go to has a part time course available.

With you being dyslexic there is a lot of help you can get. For example you can apply for Disability Student Allowance and they will arrange for you to have an assessment. Depending on your needs you could get free equipment to help you study such as a laptop, printer, Dictaphone etc. Also you may be able to get extra time with exams or assignments. You can also apply for the standard student grant and loan, however the amount you receive would depend on your earnings. Also when you get to uni if you are finding it hard to get by financially you can apply for an Assess to Learning Fund.

Anyhow the first point of call is your local education authority they can give you advice on the sort of finance available. Good Luck.

  3. Can I suggest the open university? You have a computer and you can study from home in your own time.

Good luck and an honours pass!
