  1. They probably note the all caps, the attitude, and the self-importance, and don't want to become that.

  2. I had a male nurse when I had my groin surgery, and was so wonderful to me. It's really nice that males want to become nurses, and goes out of their way to make the patients feel comfortable and relaxed. :) Good for you.

  3. I have no idea!  They definitely should.  Do people still have the stereotype that nursing is a "woman profession"??  Because that's just ridiculous.

  4. I hear you on this one.  I am a retired nurse.  The field is depserately in need of new talent, and is wide open to men and women.

  5. too scared to

  6. Being a nurse is tough. Being a male nurse is tougher. Traditionally, people are used to being taken care by female and likely to feel awkward if they see a male nurse. Male are expected to be out there fighting a war, running a business. All these labelling will have to change but it will take effort and time........

It takes lots of patience, tenderness and sincerity to become a good nurse. Keep up the good work.

  7. women hold that more caring nurturing role better than men, if i was in a hospital and you were the  one giving me a bath i would not be so happy.
