  1. Well I hated high school, because I didn't know anyone going in and I had just hit a growth spurt so I was really awkward looking. I was always good at sports and wanted to play football but I was still growing into the height and I didn't make the team (90 people tried out for the freshman team!! That was almost half of the freshman boys at my school). So I got off on the wrong foot and never really went up from there... I had friends but not as many as I would have liked... college is frickin awesome though (currently a Jr. in college).

I recommend being nice to everyone... they are all in the same shoes as you are and worried about the same things. I was too nervous and self-centered back then to take it to heart, but it really helps to be nice to everyone, even people you don't like right away... you NEVER know who will end up being your best friend.

The first 2 years of high school is one big *** clusterf^(k, but it can be great for some. Don't belittle anyone, because Junior year is the year everything changes... and Seniors just want to get the h**l out of there

    Good Luck!

  2. High school will seem scary at first, but after about a week you'll be fine. Just make sure you don't attach to an upperclassmen because it will backfire. If someone wants to make you their freshmen buddy do it, it'll help you get in with their friends.

And don't worry about being in band, as long as you have a good personality, you'll make plenty of friends.

  3. DO

    Follow trends...

    DON"T

    Don't be a loser

  5. sorry idk know but can u help me I'm going onto middle school so iv never had classes so im kinda excited and kinda scared

  6. wow there was this freshman girl this year in my school and she looked like a giant, ithink she was tallker than you tho, but she was crazy and loud lol

well, high school is bassically a pressure cooker, whether its friends or academics or college.  im sure you'll meet lots of ppl with ur same interests in the band.  and you want to be open to all kinds of ppl in ur school, trust me, hanging out with the same ppl is not going to be fun... by the time u get to senior year, everyone in ur grade will start hanging out with each other, and i mean everyone, cuz its like the last time u'll see each other.  freshman year is basically the easiest year and u have nothign to worry about.  just be friendly to everyone and that way you  wont be miserable
