I'M SCARED Yall?

Question

Ok tomorrow im going to cedar point and I need to conquer the millennium force and the mangum xl im terrified of roller coasters any advice to calm myself or at least try to get over my fear

p.s I GET A HUNDRED BUCKS IF I DO BUT I WANT NOT TO BE SCARED ALSO

Listen well! Don't worry at all about it!!! Roller coasters r soooooooooooooooooooo fun !!! Sure the millennium force and the magnum xl are frickin scary..... but guess what!?!!? In the end you know that was fun and ur gunna want to ride them again! Trust me! You will love it! If you really hate the coasters... then think u want that money!$$$$

Try to take comfort in the knowledge that lots of other people went on those rides before you and they got off just fine. While you're waiting in line, try to think of something else. Usually thinking of a love interest does the trick for me. *winks*

Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Both are really fast rides and will be over before you know it. Just keep holding on and know that nothing will happen to you.

Afterwords you should be SO glad you rode it. Its so exciting. and it's always EXTRA SATISFYING to get that chip off your shoulder and KNOW you can do it.

I HATE COASTERS!!! buy half way through it you'll realize how crappy and cheap it is. Dont try the think positive thoughts method its simply garbage and panics you more. Just attempt to enjoy the ride while it lasts and think of the money!!

I will admit something in this forum very few know about me....I am afraid of heights. I love rollercoasters and thrills of all types but when I look at their height....my stomach drops to the floor.

All of these rides are safe. Very well made, tested frequently.

Fears are irrational. Rides are made to be FUN. Let go of your fear and embrace the rush.

Plus...you've got a bet going.....you'll feel good when you win because not only did you prove others wrong but you had a kick butt time doing it!

once u ride it once you will definitely want 2 ride it again... i did and im scared of heights like crazy....i rode both of them sooooo much fun and u get $$$ PAID ain't nothin wrong with that...

advice   when its your turn swallow your fear get on... close your eyes and think of the most happiest time of ur life ...DON'T open your eyes until you feel the ride move. by that time you will be focussed enought to ride fear free ......................... well at least your mind will be occupied for a minute.......~~~smile~~~ and do not eat right before you ride!!!!!!!

Wow... $100 !? You never know, this could be the easiest $100 you have ever made!

Just try to relax, and focus on the money...lol. Since there is no mention of you having to do these two rides early in the day, start out with some of the smaller rides to build some confidence. Once you feel a little more confident, head to Millennium and Magnum. Allow enough time though, so you can score that $100!

I ran into a little boy at Sea World last weekend whose dad was offering $12 to ride with his hands up on Steel Eel. He thought about it, but never took up his dad's offer. You however, have an opportunity to make $100, so relax and go for it! ;) You may love both rides, and just may find yourself running back to the entrance $100 richer!
