  1. Spouse Visa will run you about $2,000 and you have to prove you have enough income to support a family of two (at least). Count on 14 to 24 months to get all the paperwork done. A lawyer will help you get the 14-month's service. Then, she still won't have a Green Card or driver's license. Finally, you promise that she won't go on the public dole for 10 years once she gets here.

  2. it used to be a lot easier back then, but time have changed bro. Hopefully you can get a Lawyer to answer you thins question cause that's what your gonna need. The good thing is that your already married but she ant gonna get immigrated over night. My brother married his wife here in the U.S she was an illegal and he still has to wait a year for her to get immigrated. Like i said its a lot more complicated now. Good luck to you both.

  3. first of all, she is a minor, and you will have to get her parent's authorisation to wed? did you do that?

there are no fast and easy way to do this. many procedures must be follow....you are going to have to show that you can support her...

  4. holy smokes you're dumb

  6. why did you get married?she will have u stuck with 5 kids in no time.get fat, fat, fat and try to drain you dollars...this is not a good beggining!sorry!

  7. Forget it. Stay in Mexico.

  8. Minimum marriage age in Mexico is 12 (in some states higher, such as 14) for girls.

You will need to check with USCIS. Go to the web-page someone else listed and see for yourself. At least you are a US citizen, otherwise as a green card holder it can take 5-7 years to bring your spouse to the US. Your best option for the short term might be to move to a border city with you wife, like Cd. Juarez (Which is where you will have to go for the visa anyways, all immigrant visas in Mexico for the US are done in Cd. Juarez at the US consulate). She can continue to go to school in Juarez and you can work on the US side. No matter what, it will take at least a year and you will have to travel to Mexico at least twice to process the visa. You should have done some research first. The US will be reluctant to issue a visa when you guys are so young, they will think it's a scam marriage.

Also, you should NOT under any circumstances bring your spouse to the US as a tourist or even worse, illegally. This is considered fraud and she can be deported for 5-10 years, no questions asked, then you won't have any choice but to move to Mexico or get divorced.

You need to speak with a lawyer who specializes in Immigration issues and DON'T depend on the answers that I or any other poster puts on this page. We are not lawyers and every case is unique.

  9. You are going to have to prove to immigration officials the you really do love your wife, and that you did not marry her just to bring her into the country. You married a girl under 16?..What were you thinking?..You should have waited, then brought her into the country legally, and married her on US soil.

  10. you must petition for her by k-3 visa.you must make more than 125% of poverty level for everyone in the household.if not you can use a co-sponser.you must prove that this is a valid marriage and not a green card scam.since you are married less than two years she will recieve a conditional green card.after 2 years you can petition to remove the conditions.if you divorce befor the 2 years she will be deported.at your interview they will be asking very personal questions to see if it is a valid marriage.they want proof of your relationship like letters, joint bank accounts, joint anything accounts. who ever co-sponsers or if you make enough, you will be liable for her for the next 10 years such as medical bills, government aid if she recieves any.

i suggest getting a lawyer because of the age thing.and its faster that way.about 16 months.

Its a shame they allow their daughters to get married so young there.

  11. You will have to sponsor her for her green card, though I don't know how that will work since she is underage. Go to the link below and do your homework. Applications cost money, plus time. Once you get her into the States you will be scrutinized by Immigration until she gets her citizenship. The other poster is correct that you will have to prove that she will not become dependant on the government.

You are way too young to be married but I wish you the best.
