  1. Yes

My great aunt who just passed away Weds Jan 30 had this thing about the name Isabel B. Apparently a person with this name did her wrong at one point in her life and she swore everyday that when she died she would get revenge.

  2. ...Finding out the history of the house will not help you much in getting rid of the problem. Your enlightement will not clear out the house. Once you know whatever there is to know, what are you going to do about it? That is the real concern...It does sound like there is something going on and you can not live like this, right?

    I believe you.

Does the rest of the family see what is going on?

If it is as severe as you describe, how come none of you have seeked religious help? That house needs prayer and a blessing. There are some things in life that science can not measure or help - go to a local church and ask the pastor/priest/whoever to come to the house. Good luck.

(how come your question ended up in "environmental issues"?)

  3. go to your nearest city hall

  4. move out........thats my best suggestion.

  5. I don't believe in hauntings as a general rule, but I think that the best way to find out is to look in the back issues of the local paper.  Generally, hauntings are blamed on tragic events that occurred in the house, and the local paper would have covered it.  If you live in a small town, it might be easier to try to find an elder that has lived in your town for many years, and ask him/her about what s/he remembers occurring in your home.

If you feel sick while in the house, and fine when you leave it, it's also possible that there is something scientific going on (even if you believe in hauntings; it's possible that both are going on).  There could be a fungus growing in the walls or a bacteria present in the cellar.  It's worth looking into.  Clean the home, and then look for odd bumps in the wall (often caused by a fungus or a mold).  Go on to look for sources of weird bacteria.  A dripping pipe could provide a perfect environment for bacteria, mold, or fungus to grow, and then it could infect you!
