1. try this:

    1 kiwi fruit

    3-5 medium sized strawberries

1/2 c milk or plain yogurt

    sugar to taste

plus I add lots of ice in this recipe. :)

you could also try a papaya smoothie sometime, it's a very healthy fruit after all. :)

  2. Here's the breakfast smoothie I make for myself and the kids:

    1 cup frozen berry mix

    1 banana

    1/2 cup organic vanilla yogurt

1-2 tablespoon frozen juice concentrate (I like Welch's White Grape Peach)

1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk or carnation instant breakfast vanilla

A splash of orange juice if it seems too think.

Gives a huge supply of vitamin C, antioxidants, calcium, potassim and protein.

My boys usually also have cereal or my homemade instant oatmeal (quick oats, nonfat dry milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins) and my daughter usually has a couple of slices of whole grain toast with margarine and cinnamon sugar. Fuels them up until lunch.

  3. Tomato Smoothie

    2 cups (chopped) tomatoes

    1/2 cup tomato juice

    1/4 cup apple juice

    1/2 cup carrots

    1/4 cup (chopped) celery

Tabasco or hot sauce to taste

    2 cups ice

    1/2 of a frozen peeled/sliced banana

    2T protien powder

1 1/2 T flax seeds (or try flax oil if you do not like the texture of the flax seeds)

    1 tsp honey

1/2 cup frozen fruit of your choice.

blend well and add more milk if needed to get the desired consistency.

    PB and Banana smoothie

    1 1/2 cups milk

    1 frozen peeled/sliced banana

    about 2 T of PB

    1-2 tsp of vanilla

    1/4 cup wheat germ

blend until smooth-a scoop of vanilla protien powder can also be added.

  7. 1 cup Apple Juice, more or less to consistency of your liking

    1 cup Ice

    1 Banana

1 handful of your favorite berry (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

    Blend

If you want an added boost, mix in some protein powder. It should be sweet enough, but if not add a little honey.

  8. It tastes like a glass of fresh.... a cucumber, some spinach you can get from a salad bar, my husband used pineapple juice from a can, a banana, we have experimented adding different things but I think the spinach & cucumber & juice make it great, add strawberries or whatever you want.

  9. Blend 1 c. ice w/ 1/2 c. fat-free milk, soy milk, or yogurt, 1/2 c. orange juice (or any other fruit juice--best with unsweetened juices), and a banana or 1/2 c. other fruit (raspberries recommended). Use Splenda for sweetening, if desired.

  10. banana

    apple

    yoghurt

    orange juice

    pineapple

    strawberries

    apple juice

    and a spoonful of flaxseed

  11. V-8 acai berry juice, Dannon berry Fusion yogurt, handful of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. High in antioxidants.

V-8 Pina Colada, Dannon Pina Colada Fusion yogurt, some Dole crushed pineapple. Just good!

  12. orange juice, blue barries, straw berries, and a banana... its good and healthy. (to make it a little bit healthier use cranberry juice instead of orange juice)

  13. use a jucier machine

  14. blueberries is rated the best food for you so I'd say load it up with those, soymilk (both vanilla and chocolate are good for calcium protein and so many things). Bananas and strawberries.

Option two (bigger and lower cal)

Ice, Blueberries, peaches (and maybe banana)

    Option Three (the traditional)

Banana, Ice Strawberries (and possibly the odd blueberry)

your making me want to make on now!

  15. 3 oz Tequila

    2 oz Midori

    1 oz triple sec

    juice of 2 limes

    juice of 1 lemon

    2 oz of simple syrup

    Ice.

    Blend well and enjoy.

It is the citrus juice that makes this healthy.

  16. I think this is healthy.... - this is like a shake ( Don't put ice in it like most smoothies)

    * Milk ( depends on how much you want to drink)

    * Oatmeal ( if you want but it tastes better with it)

    * Nesquick chocolate ( you need that)

    * Sugar ( if you want it a lit bit sweet - don't put to much or it will not be healthy)

    * 1 whole banana

Put it all in the bender and enjoy it.

=} trust me it might sound weird but Good!

    - And if you want to put extra oatmeal when you are done bending it together it will taste good.

    - And / or if you like oatmeal don't blend it to much if you want some bits of oatmeal in the shake.
