Should I keep using this moisturizer - It's a natural cosmetis facial cream and it passed the Oko German test. It contains avocado and sea buckthorn and it helped me ease the allergy. My skin is no loner red or irriated but what bothers me is it looks kind of dried out? Could I be overreacting? It just feels this way when I look at it, but the irritation, the allergy is gone. What do you think? Thanx.

  1. Perhaps you need to exfoliate? If it has been a while, built up dead skin cells can make the skin look dry and flaky. Before you change your moisturiser, try a good exfoliation.

  2. You should probably it less, if you use it everyday try switching to every other day. If that doesn't help try cutting down days after that. You don't want to make it worse by drying your skin out and end up with peeling skin or dry spots.

  3. I would check with the website if they have one just to be safe. If anything, i would be concerned about bacteria if it is an old product that has been used alot. I know with foundations, concealers, mascara and 'wet' makeup you need to change every 6 months or so. Good luck!

  4. My skin dries out so much. I used to use Clinique, which (like yours) helped my skin look no longer red or irritated. My skind ried out too.

It's either because you used too much of this, or your not using a proper moisturizer with it. Facial creams are not moisturizer's, so you should always apply a moisturizer after using it. I'd really suggest something powerful (like Clinique), because it's made by really high dermatologists and they know how people dry out their faces. I'd also really recommend to use less of the facial cream.

Also, do you have a facial process? Like do you exfoliate before using the cream? If you do, that may be the reason why you're skin's drying out. When you exfoliate, you're taking all the bad and dirty flakes of skin off, but you can also be taking your moisture away. That's why moisturizer should be in everyone's bathroom.
