I'd like to listen to my television through my stereo.

Is there a certain setting or cable I will to retrieve?

Unfortunately, the pics that I've included aren't very clear. However hopefully if you are quite knowledgeable in this field, you may be able to decipher them. If you'd like to know what a certain outlet is labeled as, I'll definitely check for ya.

  1. If your tv has rca outputs (red and white) use can use any of the inputs on your carver EXCEPT phono or mmc or anything relating to a turntable. You can use tape/aux/cd whatever you'd like. If the tv doesn't have red and white audio outputs but does have a single audio out you would purchase a rca cable and a splitter cable to take the one rca to two. if your tv has an optical or coax audio output and your carver has an optical or coax input as well, that would be the best sound.

  2. Gman gave a good answer.

Are you using a cable or satellite box?  If you are, and your TV doesn't have audio outputs, you could use the audio outputs from your cable/satellite box and connect them to your Carver the same way Gman described using the TV outputs.
