go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box- click save changes

if you leave a group via e-mail, expect delays

go to profiles.yahoo.com / whatever your yahoo screen name is and then you edit your profile and groups there..

*theres no space between the com and the /  yahoo is having a problem with links at the moment.

and it's not www.profiles either... just profiles.yahoo.com backslash your yahoo name you want to remove the membership from
