If your familiar with this model, it has a kick board at the bottom. It has a flimsy black clip on thingie inside, on both ends. They broke, bought new ones, now it is impossible for them to click into place and stay on!! Can anyone help who may have had the same problem. F & P say they will charge $110.00 just to come out. No thanks!!

  1. over priced garbage

  2. I just got rid of that exact model dishwasher... And the kickboard was the least of the problems!! In 2 years, 4 elements just buggered up on me... Anyway, what we did with the kickboard is use some non flammable heat resistant silicone stuff (got it from bunnings - cant remember the name but if you explain the problem and the people there will point you in the right direction) and glued the d**n thing back into place... I found the replacement clips didn't work at all and that was our last resort.

    Good Luck!

  3. yeah got one same but i don't have that problem,. well if you just bought it, it should be still in under warranty? you call the place where you bought it from if its covered under warranty they might fixed it for you for free,..$110.00 i think thats a bit of a rip off,. try to call around and get a quotes,.

  4. I have had the same problem so I bought a couple of cupboard door magnets and pop rivetted them on so the kickboard is now held in place by magnets. This works a treat.
