I'd like to get Sponsored for a big project... Who should I ask? How can I contact Yahoo! about it?

I'm an Iraqi teen studying abroad. Things have been hard with my family in Iraq, with brothers of mine getting shot and a sister having a chronical disease. I now have decided to start a unique project to get them out of Iraq and make us afford to live in a peaceful country. It would be really big, far reaching, unique, and aims at promoting the sponsor in a way that makes a real impact.

The amount I need is big, and I am thinking of asking big companies and names like Yahoo! How can I go for this? How can I contact Yahoo! regarding being sponsored by them? How can I contact others if Yahoo! does not agree?

Contacting any corporate including yahoo is  not difficult. Activities like you are going to do are usually being sponsored by Marketing department. And most of the companies have [e-mail] addresses. for example [e-mail], [e-mail] and so on. So first choose a bunch of companies you like to talk to and then visit their websites and get universal contact address of their marketing department.

being at their customer service of any corporate you like to contact will also lead you to this door.

I think to get started get some good reference from chairman  like if you  are in boys scouts,  or from the people from your committee or a non-profit origination. You have to explain why should their sponsor you and what difference you will do form them like benefits or search for a small business company and ask for a sponsor and in return do sign to work part-time or full time once you finish schooling for at least 5 years or as needed. Also if you have any relatives in the country you want to go see if their can find you any help or give you support letter. Find a commitee in that county and write a letter explaining why you need to leave your present country and be very general because the committee needs to know before their can find you a sponsor.
