  1. Really the best thing to do is join a team. like at the schoools team . To improve at the sport u havae to but your heat into it. I know itr sounds chessy but to get better a t a sport you have to be really dedicated. get up every morning and practice and practice that's really th eonly way to get  better.

  2. the best thing to do is join a team. i used to play volleyball.. that's the best way to learn. you learn from each other, you learn techniques, you'll have a coach to guide you so that you play properly and you'll know all the rules and everything else that goes with it.

great choice. volleyball is awesome. have fun. =]

  3. practice practice practice...... there are alot of camps out there that are for beginners and while your there you learn the basics of volleyball. its a easy fun way to start out. take all the drills you know and put them to work. if you want to be a setter then lay on your back and set the ball above your head for 5 minutes. if you want to be a hitter then practice your approach and arm swing. and for a backrow player have someone toss you some balls and pass them up.

  4. go to camps and practice like crazy

  5. Over the summer there are a number of camps you can join. The coaches are usually players themselves and know what it takes to be good at volleyball. The camps range from beginner to experienced. Try to get involved with your school, usually they do a lot of volleyball stuff over the summer (especially now since the season changed). Anyway, at the camps you'll learn how to play and get experience so you can be the best volleyball player you can be. Hope this helped and good luck. Just work hard!

  6. Practice the basics over and over. Such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking. To get faster and stronger you can do certain muscle excersizes, like jump-roping and running.

  7. well, i am in the same situation

me, and my best friend decided to help eachother

we practice bumping back anbd forth everyday, it is alot of work, but you just have to practice

    good luck!

  8. aNGel has a great answer.  You can find a team to work out with.  If you go to usavolleyball.org, then the Wanna Play link and then the USA Volleyball regions link and find your region.  If you contact the region nearest you, they will be able to help you find a team.  If you are 18 and under, you can also check to see if they have any camp suggestions.  You can get to a camp near you, it will be an intense learning experience.  The last thing you could do is to see if any of your friends play.  Work out with your friend every day if you can.  The more you touch a volleyball, the better you will become.

  9. practice alot w/ someone who knows the game

  10. maybe u could participate in a camp during the summer.

something else u can do would be to practice with some friends that are good at it or by yourself everyday.

    ♥ Good Luck

  11. Practice, practice and more practice.  Depending on where you live, find a local park with a beach court, those are usually the best players around.  Other than that, look on craigslist for activity partners.

  12. The best way to get better is to practice. You should maybe find a partner or ask the coach to see if they could spend a little extra time with you to let you know what you need to improve on and how to improve. If another person see how you play, they can also give you other options to help you out

  13. Personally I would look online on your local parks and recreation web site, or do some local searches on volleyball try to find camps  for your age group! Camps are really based on learning new skill and improving on old ones. They're really fun too!
