Going to the actual beach is totally out of the question for me. I have a huge backyard and I suppose that's a good thing since I have many friends who I want to invite (20-40). My budget ranges from $350-$500. Can anyone help me? I really want my party to have a beachy feel. Also I was thinking about having the party later in the evening (a little before dusk until about 11). Anyone have any tips?

Get 6 bags of sand and put around pool.

  2. yell first of all you dont need that much money to have a good time. the only expencive thing will be the food. In your case I would recommend just a few appitisers and some desert or ask if people can bring food. For decorations  you can have a dance floor, some music playing, pool party, you name it as long as your guest have fun.

  3. Tell them to bring their best beach wear.

You can also buy food at a wholesaler store.

You may also want to buy those small kiddy sand boxes.  You know fill them up with sand & a little water for sand castles.

Have a sand castle contest.  Who ever makes the best castle wins a beach towel.  (for example)

  4. i was thinking that i wanted to do this do, but i dont know how much it would cost, but if you got a lot of sand to put in your backyard, to make it feel really beachy!
