I'd like to learn Spanish?

My boyfriends parents only speak Spanish, and he and I can't get together long enough for him to teach me spanish. Is there any way I can learn how to speak Spanish with a program online or a free download that actually works?

It is not free, but Rosetta Stone is a great way to learn.

As for the paid courses:

assimil (expensive but decent)

pimsleur (expensive but good for absolute beginners)

Rosetta Stone (Expensive & you will learn phrases that make no sense)

free:

look for "learn Spanish" on itunes. some nice podcasts around for free.

watch movies with Spanish subtitles

fsi basic Spanish course ( very large course)
