I'm looking for a place where there is no snow/cold temperatures, and no heat or humidity -- the temperature must stay constant, and there can only be a moderate amount of rainfall. Also, good sanitation, and amenities like grocery stores, restaurants and shopping malls. And absolutely no chance of natural disasters like forest fires/mudslides/volcanic eruptions/tsunamis. Oh, and also low crime/murder rate. I've heard Thousand Oaks, California comes close, but I think there's still a chance of an earthquake there, so.....

  1. well personally i dont thing you will find a place that perfect from all natural disasters. But here in florida the heat reaches about 100 degreesF but when ur used to it its nice. i have never heard of a mud slide or volcano or earthquake here but depending on the town there is hardly any hurricanes that hit in the woodville area of florida. I would say that this part of the woods is a pretty clean arean the only sickness my kids have is asthma which is hereditary. and some allergies but that is also from me. so maybe you would like it here in our town. not much crime either unless you start it.

  2. The Philippines.

  3. quality of life:

Ireland has the highest quality of life in the world, ahead of the US, Britain and Switzerland. That is according to a new study carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit.

The study, which examined quality of life indices in 111 countries, says Ireland is the best place to live in the world because it has low unemployment, political freedom and stable family life.

It adds the state has maintained a strong sense of social concern, as illustrated by the Special Olympics last year. Family breakdown, yobbishness and drunken violence are identified as social woes that affect Ireland much less than other developed countries.

The study also says divorce is on the rise and community involvement has declined, while health, climate and gender inequality fall below the rich-European average.

This puts us ahead of Switzerland in second place, with American in 13th and Britain back down in 29th place.

    climate:

A quintet of sunny islands makes up the Republic of Malta, with its mild winters and hot summers. Malta, Gozo, and Comino are all inhabited--though with a mere handful of families, Comino only just qualifies. The remaining islands, Cominotto and Filfla, are for boat-trippers and seabirds.

These Maltese islands take the top spot in the Climate category of our 2007 Quality of Life Index. As you know, once a year, every January, we consider nearly every nation on earth in a grueling set of nine categories. This year, our survey looks at 193 countries. And Malta has the best climate in the world.

Fair weather, averaging 5.2 hours of sunshine a day--even in December. Right into November, daytime temperatures often nudge 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Spring comes early, around late February. Frost and snow are mostly unknown. There is winter rainfall, but it tends to come in heavy bursts for short periods. And, while the islands boast few sandy beaches, there are compensations: Summertime brings a round of colorful village festivals complete with fireworks. Diving and sailing are excellent. You can play golf, go horseback riding, and attend trotting races. The second-oldest theater in Europe is the Manoel Theatre, in the capital of Malta, Valletta. In the cooler months, October through May, you can see opera, theater, music, and ballet there.

New Zealand is an all year round destination. The weather here is mild and temperate.

Temperatures in the sub-tropical far north average around 25 degrees in the summer (Dec, Jan, Feb) and 16 degrees

in the winter (June, July, Aug). South Island coastal areas average around 5 degrees cooler. In the mountains

temperatures are considerably lower -especially in winter when it can drop to minus 10 - but the skiing is great!
