I went to Wal-Mart in Fredericton today and with 4 people behind the counter; it still took longer than even Zellars!I went to exchange a top in size L for an XL.I clearly told the woman I needed the bigger size because I found things run smaller these days than they used to. She was talking to co-workers while she waited on me.

I'm now home ready to take tags off the top;and it's the same L top that I took back!!!So now Ihave to once again return to WalMart.The sale no longer is a sale with gas prices the waythey are today!!

WalMart customer service is sincerly lacking.--good service:and this is not the first time this has happened to me.I also have friends who agree with this.They have complaints of similar nature.

  1. Don&#039;t shop at Walmart!  What type of service do you expect from people making minimum wage and what type of quality of products do you expect you will get from Walmart.  The poor service doesn&#039;t shock me.


  2. Complain to a CSM or Asst. Mgr.

    Not us. We can&#039;t do anything. Lol.

  3. Next time when you go to return something, leave the old item at the courtesy desk, and go get the replacement item yourself. Its not walmarts job to go get the merch for you, If you want to return or exchange something go get it. Then keep watch to make sure they put the correct merch in the bag, if they don&#039;t let them know.

    If you feel like complaining start at the store level; manager, personnel. If nothing happens then go higher up....district manager, regional manager.

  4. Did you pick out the replacement or did they?  If they did, I guess that you have to do the same thing as you do at the McDonald&#039;s drive thru, check the product before leaving the window.  You do have a reason to complain because the clerk did not give you their undivided attention.  Although complaining to the manager might resolve your own issue I would suggest you find out where the district offices are and file your complaint there.  it has more clout there.  Personally I prefer to get a full refund and then buy what I want provided any sale price is still in effect.
