But where should I start?

Is there a website that I can write on and keep it completely private?

Or one with cool things to add to it to make it look cool like pictures and things?

Any ideas to get started are appreciated. Pleas and thank you!

  1. aoljournals.com is where I have mine and it can be either public or private.  I do think you need to create an aol address though, but it's free.

  2. yea, i keep my blog on livejournal. it's nice because you have 3 different settings, based on what you for a particular entry. you can make it private (so that only you can see it), semi-private (so that only your other friends on livejournal can see), or public so that everyone can see. i haven't poked around too much with the pictures, but i'm sure that there aren't problems with that. you can also customize your page and have its own theme.

  3. I've been using Word exclusively for my journals for three years now and have no reason to change. I back up the documents on flash drives. All of my journals are password protected so they cannot be opened by others. Word is nice because of the many options you can use to separate types of things you write about. For example, whenever I copy an email into my journal, I put it in blue text. Instant messages go in green, etc.

It is also easy to insert photos however you wish. I highly recommend it. If you use an on-line site and  your internet connection gets hosed, you can't get at your journal. This is why I keep my files local.

    Give it a try!

  4. I'm fairly sure www.livejournal.com lets you make private or public journal entries.
