Hello I'm 13 years old in the 8th grade and, in my opinion, pretty scrawny.

I weigh 106 and I'm 5'6. I'm not as strong as I'd like to be, and would like to start weight lifting. Could I please get tips and advice on what I need to do, different ways to lift, how much I should be lifting, etc.? All help is appreciated, :]

  1. most gyms don't let 13 year olds lift in gyms but thats how i would get the best results

  2. eat a lot of protein. use whey protein or creatine. Most beginners actually should workout 3 times a week. After a month you can start working out 5 times a week. Your young so your body should recover quickly. You should workout each body part separately. if you start out 3 times a week. do chest and abs one day, back and shoulder the next day, and legs and arms the last day. When you start working out 5 times a week, do every body part separately each day. chest, back, shoulder, arms, and legs. Then do abs three times a week. For example mon, wed, fri. Run three times a week too if you wanna get cut. If you want definition run like h**l.

You should lift really heavy weights. 4 sets 5 reps per exercise. Heavy to the point that 5 is your max

  3. first do like 10 push ups every morning then every night before bed then try lifting like 10 pounds or 15 trust me when i was your age i can lift like 25 pounds
