  1. I doubt it's possible, but if you want to clutch at straws call the company that made the GPS and ask if they can track it.

It's usually not worth it for a "cheap" $300 piece of equipment, though.

  2. you should make a police report ASAP.

Then you should stay in contact with all of your local pawn shops and flea markets

if they try to pawn or sell it then you will get it back and most likely thats why they took it to begin with

  3. If you know the brand, model and serial number of your missing property, then by all means, contact your local police agency and give them the information.  They will add your info to the list that is sent out to local pawn shops, and it is quite possible that they will recover your GPS unit, and maybe even catch the thief.

  4. cops?

  5. first off, contact police and file a stolen gps cause then when they stop someone in the area they can check the numbers and compare. But in the meantime you cant really do anything to get it back till police find it. Check ebay i see alot of stuff on there that seems it can be stolen

lock your car from now on and roll up windows

  6. buy another one and it will lead you there

    lol.

  7. Talk to your insurance agency to see if items stolen from your car are covered.  I doubt it but it might be worth a shot.

  8. police?

  9. This same thing happened 6 months ago to my neighbor and this is how it was handled.

    1. make a police report.

    2. contact the manufacturer and give them all the information concerning this issue and they will note this on their files.

    3. your unit must have been registered with the manufacturer first.

    4. when they stole his unit the idiots needed the cable and the mounting so the called the manufacturer and the they asked them to send it in for free updates.

    5. once they received the unit they contacted the owner, asked some security questions and the unit was sent back to him at no charge.

Good luck and hope that they will call in for some info concerning your unit.
