Well right now we are tasing people and in the last couple of weeks we killed one in Vancouver airport and a few other going east.  So, just be prepared cause the cops here have many many taser guns and are right now trigger happy.

So, I'd be thinking about your visit.

If it's just for a visit, all you need is a passport.

If you are looking for specific places, there are many beautiful places in Canada to visit. British Columbia and the Maritimes (East Coast) are especially beautiful. If you want to visit Quebec, brush up on your french first.

Canada is a beautiful place to visit. Your timing might not be great if you want to visit in winter.

Visit it in summer and visit all of it.
