  1. Canada is a great country and very different than USA. There are only few cities you would love to live:Toronto,Montreal,Vancouver,Edmonton... Weather- wise, cultural variation-wise and activity-wise Toronto is the best. But protect yourself from the undesirable elements.Be selective about your friends,do not do drugs, stay away from the criminal activities, alcohol and smoking is injurious to a 17 years old. You can enjoy many cultural activities, visiting finest spots in the city and expand your horizon of tasting many different kinds of food. Good-luck.

  2. get your 19 yo friends to buy you booze from the lcbo or beer store, then have crazy nights... you'll fit right in

  3. probably the same thing you normally do

  4. What there is to do depends on where you live.   What part of the country are you living in?

OH, also, why not ask this on on YA Canada

  5. Seventeen year old girls in Canada are not that different from seventeen year old girls in the US.  What they do depends on where they live, and since Canada is a huge country, there are huge differences in the sorts of activities that might be available.  Most cities in Canada are pretty great to live in, so it mostly depends on you and what you like.  The biggest cities are Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Edmonton, so they would probably also be the most expensive while offering a huge variety of services and amenities.  Smaller cities may have better quality of life in some ways, and it may be easier to get to know people in the smaller cities and towns.   Movies, dating, concerts, hanging out with friends, sports, are some of the things that keep seventeen year old girls busy.

We have provincial governments and a federal government, a parlliamentary system of government.  Our prime minister is the elected leader of the party in power.  It is different from your system of government, elected differently and organized differently.

  6. Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver are NOT the only good cities around.

Do you know where you are moving to?  All the cities will have the same things you are used to.  The only real difference will be the spelling of words and some accents.
