I'll be 16 y/o next month school would have already started and I'm in need of a part time job Please Help?

I'm 15 now, I'll be 16 in September, the 13th to be exact, school begins at that time, and I'm in need of a part time job. I've been searching for jobs, and I know no one really wants to hire a 15 year old. Now that I am turning 16, I know there's more opportunities, any one know a place to look into, a site? A list of things I can try out? I live in The Bronx, NY. And I'm excellent with children, helping out, and assistance, I'm also good with my hands, lifting, and I'm great with computers. I've also done a lot of searching online, and it seems like I have to apply in person for most of the jobs. So anything will help, please! And Thank you.

you can try department stores, they are usually flexible with school schedules. So you can still be a teen and work

I think by the sound of it you need to spend some time asking your parents, or other adults you know, for job search tips...ie..resume writing, search tips, interview tips.  Also, do google searches for this information.

My two 15 year olds got jobs on their own without having to ask where to apply....it is pretty obvious the kind of jobs that they hire teenagers for.

look at coffee shops, walmart, target, sporting goods stores, department stores, libraries, vet offices, drug stores, etc
