  1. well they should all be ok with you as long as your not american...when we went there we were treated very poorly whenever they found out we were american....after a couple days my wife and i both adopted a britsh accent and they treated us quite differently,...lol...good luck and have fun

  2. You HAVE to do Paris, but know that they can be rudest.  Pretty much anyplace else, you will find people to be more friendly.

  3. Generally, if you are nice to people, they will be nice to you. Try it home first. Don't travel until you've mastered it.

  4. most people are friendly in france

  5. Nowhere !

I know cause i am french ! In the moment, France is doing a very racist politics and do not seems very nice for holidays ! If I wasn't french, I probably have prejudices on them ;)

But I can tell you the places where the people are the less stupid, these cool towns : Lyon, Nantes, and Lille are great.

Hope you have a good vacation.

  6. Some people are racist, some people are not. Just be prepared and you should be OK. Since you lived in the USA, you've probably experienced both attitudes. France is no different. It seems like English speaking Blacks are treated better in France than French speaking Blacks.

  7. ho my god the answer man, if you are as clever as you sound it's normal that people weren't nice with you. Do you think an average French person makes a difference between an American and an Englishman by the way they sound? I know we're well clever in Europe but please, get real! Stop thinking that everyone hates Amerciacans because they are Americans.

To answer your question, I don't think there are any part of France where people are nicer. It's just like everywhere I suppose, there are nice people and idiots. I'd be tempted to say, ignore the idiots and look for the nice people!
