  1. I agree the previous answers (except the stupid joke about the showers), I will just suggest you also :

    - to go 1 day in Versailles, it's really huge and worth seing

    - to visit Montmartre (where I live) : it's a typical old village in Paris (north) with many little old streets and with painters. The highest point in Paris, from where you can see the town.

    - to spend a couple of hours in "Le Marais", and especially : Place des Vosges and the 2 Islands in the middle of Paris : Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint Louis. It's the oldest part of Paris.

  2. EVERY THING YOU CAN DO; PAIRS IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE ENJOY YOUR SELF THERE

  3. I was in Paris for a week in May one year. All I can say is pack pants and shorts!

  4. Walk and enjoy the beautiful city.

    Go up the Eiffel Tower.

    Go in the Louvre.

Go to patisserie's and eat it in a beautiful park.

Sit in a cafe and enjoy.

Sit in a park and enjoy.

Take a cruise on the Seine.

    Go to the musee d'orsay.

Go to the Rodin museum and walk around the grounds - check out the 'thinker'.

Take inhalers and avoid the subway if you have asthma.

I'm sitting in my living room looking at a picture of my best breakfast in Paris - sitting outside the louvre, beside the fountains and pyramid, eating a croissant for breakfast - amazing.

    Have a great time!

  5. i see that i have nothing to learn u more... they are righ.. may is the better period to visit paris and they were right again.. 4 days is not enough to see Paris!!!

ok let's go organize your 4 days:

1st day: of course: Les invalides, champs elysées (for the lunch), Tour Eiffel (by night), a trip on the Seine for the dinner,

2d day(the whole day): chateau de Versailles and garden

3 day (the whole day): Louvres

4 day: Notre Dame de Paris, lunch in Montmatre, Sacré coeur, and dinner in the top of Montparnasse Tower

you will miss a lot of things of course... but next time!!! oh forget shopping in a so short time... and u have the same in the USA

  6. get drunk in the Canada bar on the Seine

  7. Take three showers a day

    Shave under your arms

Ask where the Tivoli garden is located

    make the fortune of taxis

Have a formal dress-code dinner without one french at the tables  at La Tour d'Argent - Japanese also there very satisfied hee hee hee

And plunder the duty free shops of Roissy going back home

I must warn you all lovely little c**p painters in Montmartre are really great talented - don't forget the wonderful so typical Poulbots and sit at a typical painter terrace with a 10 € espresso - or glass of red wine which is typically so non-french

And above all don't listen to that tip : visit the most beautiful castle of the world : Vaux le Vicomte - which is out of Paris

  8. Pick up the latest Michelin guide to Paris at any major bookstore.  For years it's been considered to be the best guide of all.  Easy to follow walks between major attractions with illustrations are inside along with a metro map.  The metro is clean and safe and an adventure unto itself.  You can take it between the different areas you'll want to walk through.

    .

A half day sightseeing tour on your first morning is suggested.  You'll get a good all around tour of the city in comfort and these usually include a visit to Notre Dame cathedral at their conclusion around lunch time.  Taxis are plentiful and reasonable in price and "swift".  If you're in a big hurry to get somewhere it's a white knuckle experience that almost have to be experienced to believe.

    .

May is the best month for Paris and 4 days is really not enough.  With only 4 days you might want to forget the Louvre museum which is huge and really eats your time.  The following are the major attractions.

    .

    The Eiffel Tower

    Notre Dame Cathedral

The Tomb of Napoleon / next door to

    .....The Rodin Museum (The Thinker)

    Place de la Concorde

    The Champs-Élysées

    The Arch de Triumph

    Museum Orsay

    Louvre Museum

    Tuilleries Garden

    Luxembourg Gardens

    .

    Bon Voyage
