I'll be in the UK for 2 weeks, are 7 days worth of clothes good enuf, am planning to wash at least once.?

The trip I am taking is a guided tour first time over the pond! Have dreamed of doing this since I was a child. The last 4 days will be in London on my own. I assume I should pack the dressier things to get into where ever I want.

Most towns have a launderette but they're not as common as they once were in the UK, so you could end up having to search for one.  You could get your clothes washed in the hotel laundry (assuming you're in a hotel), but that's expensive.  

If you do find a launderette, go for the service wash if they have one (as it's easier than having to buy powder and get the right change and all that).

Here in England, we don't wear clothes.

To wash your clothes just stand out in the rain for 3 hours thats what we all do over here so you wont get funny looks.

i wouldnt like to be sitting next to you on the guided tour if you are only going to wash yourself once in 2 weeks you will stink ??

Yes that would be about right.  You could always buy some new clothes.

Pack some warm clothes though. Take a raincoat and umbrella.

I would think 7 day's worth of clothes should be enough, but a lot depends on our weather. It's gorgeous at the moment, but it could change any time now, and it's horrid when it's wet, as you always need more clothes than you brought with you. However, you can always pop down to the launderette, (I don't know what you call them in America) and you can wash and dry the lot for a few quid. Enjoy your trip To England.

7 days worth of clothes will be plenty. I just got back from a trip to the U.K. and France myself and I only brought about 7 days' worth of clothes.

Be sure to bring at least a couple of pairs of some good, unripped jeans - you can wear them multiple times if need be, and you can dress them up or down as the situation demands. Can't go wrong with 'em.
