Question:

I'll be needing a nanny?

By April 09' I will have 5 children.

An almost 7yr old, 11mnth old twins, and 1mnth old-ish twins!

Obviously, with hubby working full time i wont be able to handle it, especially in the early months of the new twins.

I will need someone to come around at about 9am, after Adam has dropped Millie off at school.

She or he will need to do the washing, ironing, a general clean, looking after one pair of twins every now and then during the day, if i go out i will usually take at least one child.

After ive picked Millie up, ideally she could have cooked something during the day, or then will cook us dinner if possible. I may cook some nights. I just know Millie will feel very neglected!

How much should i be paying he/she to work from:

9am - 6pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday?

[Wednesdays my mother will help me or ill cope by myself.]

Thankyou xo

  1. Sounds expensive.  It's a 36 hour week so you'll be paying the nanny for almost full time work.  Could she cook dinner early and go at 4 when you have Millie home if you can cope with 5 five children from then until your husband gets home?  Otherwise yea, just negotiate pay with her I guess.
