I'm 11 And My Wisdom Teeth Have Grown Already. Is That Normal To Happen?

I recently told my friends that I'm growing Wisdom Teeth and one of them said your not suppose to grow them until your 17. I just wanna know is that normal or not cause I'm a little worried....

  1. If you are only 11, they are not your wisdom teeth.  They are the 2nd molars that are erupting into the mouth.  The 2nd molars erupt at around 12 years old...hence, we dentists call them 12-year-molars.  Your first set comes in at 6 years old..hence, 6-year-molars.  At this age, your wisdom teeth are still only developing.  Therefore, they will only be visible on an x-ray.  I wouldn't worry about the molars that are growing in.  You do not need to get them removed.  You will not have to worry about your wisdom teeth until at least 17 years old.  Hope this info helps.

  4. i was about 11-12 when my dentists said she could see them in my x-ray she never said oh no you are going to die lol, your fine.

  5. it's not typical, but it's nothing to worry about at all. my friend's mum got hers at 52! they can come in whenever.

  7. are you guys sure that its just not you 12 year mollers coming in, like come on you guys are only like 11.. and your friends are right you dont get them tell your about 17-20

  8. mine grew in when i was 10 or 11, it doesnt matter i dont think. sometimes friends are dumb :P
