  1. put one foot in front of the other -put your left foot forward then put your right foot forward and keep doing it really really quickly you will be running in no time

  2. Well, I'll try to answer the question instead of picking on you.

The best way to run faster is to practise running.

I'm not sure how far you want to run fast for, but I'll guess its up to 400m (that's one lap of the track). To run fast round there you need to do a couple of types of practise. One is to run maybe a lap and a half as fast as you can - this will increase your stamina - your ability to run the distance (run one and a half times the distance you want to run). The other type of practise you can do is to run a shorter distance but at full speed - this will increase your speed.

I don't know how often you want to practise running, but do either a speed (short distance) session or a stamina (long distance session). Do the run, rest a bit to get your breath back and then repeat the run, maybe practising for half an hour at a time.

In your speed sessions you can practise starting as well - that can make a difference overall if you are in a race.

There are other types of practising that you can do but these are the main 2 types to worry about at the moment. If you want to get serious about runnking fast I'm sure your PE teachers will be able to help you or there might be a running club in your area that you can join

As well as that, being generally fit can help you out a lot, so any other sports you do can improve your running (for example, swimming, netball, football etc...)

    Hope that helps

  3. First you need to do some strength training.

I would bike about 30 minutes without stopping and increase from there.

Then I would start running about .5 miles without stopping jog is you need to.

Every week run about 50 more yards!

Make sure you strech before everything!

Then do sprints really hard for 30 yards, about 10 times each day.

    Then you will be ready!

  4. Try stretching exercises, healthy diet. Do quite a lot of exercise and practise your running.

  5. practice! if you run a long distance every day or everyother day, it helps build your edurance, so when you run a short distance, you can go faster.

  6. jump into a lions den...michael phelps did this in a pool of sharks..give it a go

  7. imagine a rapist is chasing you

  8. The main thing you must do is get a time for both the 100 mts and the 200 mts how are you going to know that you are running faster if you don't  have a starting point ( you will have to get going as the athletic season is drawing to a close so go to an open meeting) so now you know your time do a little research look up your age group on a club website the UK atletics site will give you details and links to clubs EG Peterborough athletic club is a good one) and see how you compare with club runners your age

In the next 6 months you then need to do sprint drills look mup sprint drills on the net and run say 250 mts say 6 reps at about 75-80% of your top speed at least twice a week so eg you are timed at 30 sec for the 200 mts so say 38 sec for 250 add on 4 secs so you should be training somehwere about 42 secs for each 250 mts this will give you the stamina to run both the 100 and 200 mts do not run less than 75-80% your body will produce an enzyme which will allow you to run further but slower if you find you are slowing down to much stop then gradually increase the distance till you can run the fulll 250 mts drills should include plyometrics (bunny hops over hurdles ) remember resistance gives you strength assistance gives you speed IE running up a hill or into the wind will be resistance downhill and with the wind will give you speed now that is only an introduction to speed if you are sure you want to run fast join an athletics club and you will get all the proper coaching you need to run fast not only will it be for athletics itself but it will give you strength speed and stamina for lots of sports eg hockey netball etc wish you luck and if you really have speed it is a precious commodity to have

  9. it's pretty simple if you run 100m time yourself record it and try to beat it and the more determined you get the fast you become, i can run 100m in just under 13 secs which isn't bad for a 16 year old but i am very competitive so that helps!

  10. Kids under the age of 13 aren't meant to be on Yahoo. Plus why do you call yourself 's**y Godess' when you're only twelve?
