  1. I had the same problem! First, rather than just picking out one person to get to know, get to know as many as you can! Sitting with different people at meals is a great way to know people! The number one rule, DON'T BE SHY! Maybe while your out suntanning, make a small conversation with the person next to you. If they are your age of course... Or if they do something funny or stupid. laugh and somehow launch into a conversation. Have fun on the cruise!!!!!

  2. just start talking to them. thats what i did. on all 3 of the cruises i went on. i would jst see someone who looked like they were close to my age, and then i would say hi, ask them how old they were, and is they wanted to chill later. u can use ur own words... but thats all i did... and almost all the kids that were around my age, knew who i was. tho, normally, every1 does know who i am..... mostly cuz of that, or me being weird. but dont worry about it. u'll be fine. just go with the flow of things!

  3. Just go up to someone that looks your age and say hello.

    It will go from there.

  4. Try to join in activities you are interested in, and that other's of your age will be joining in. Just be yourself:).

  5. my best friend went on a carnival cruise when we were 15 and she said they had like a teen club or something. try going to that and meeting some friends. she met people on the cruise that shes still friends with 4 years later!

  6. Just go up to someone and say hey [standing by them] then be yourself and just make small talk at first, try to use your similarities to build off a conversation.  As questions about them, don't talk about yourself.  Don't try so hard as you stalk people, just have fun =]

    Good Luck !

  7. jump off the boat an make friends with the fishes

  8. Most Cruise Lines that take kids, have a kid's program.

Go & sign up first day, you'll meet other kids your age.

They'll have neat activities for each age group represented.

  9. ok so i go on tons of cruzes and im also 13. i dont make friends the easys.but what ive learn is if you make friends with older kids they seem to be mean so i allways look for some one whos about 11 or 12 because there nicer.=] but how i make friends with them is i kind of act sticky. if you see some one in a pool or standing in line for something run over there and comment them like i like your hair, and they most likey will say something back then talk to them some more and ask them where there from how old they are what grade there in there age, once you know about them pretty good ask them if they wanna do something like swim or have a race, get icecream, anything. then usally i ask them 4 there room number and ill call them later and ask if they wanna go to the arcade. I know i sound annoying am i never act like i do on cruzies then i do at school because every one will think your sticky and annoying, but this is the only way i found how to make friends on cruzies. ha =]  have fun and good luck!

  10. Go to a dance floor or the pool. Maybe somewhere to eat and have a lunch with someone. I dont know

  11. Just go up and start talking to some kids you see your age. Try to find some common interest like music, sports or satanic rituals for an example. It might seem hard at first to break the ice but after the cruise I'm sure you will be glad you did.

  12. oh, with a carnival cruise, you should make some in absolutely no time. During spring break, LOTS of kids and teens tend to be in cruises, especially Carnival, which is NOTED for it's young crowd. Just start a conversation to a friendly teen, and you should be friends in no time. If that person fails for any reason, Just try other teenagers there. With Carnival, they shouldn't be hard to find.

  13. Go sit at the pool. Look for some hot boys. You just have to start up a conversation somehow. You can do it!

  14. I am also going on a carnival cruise (also 13) on Christmas vacation (a little far away, i know) but i have never been on a cruise before. my friends and cousins have been on cruises and they say to try to be really outgoing the first day. i am kind of a shy person but once i get to know people it is easier. when people say something funny, i laugh and then a conversation gets started. don't worry about it too much, you will have fun no matter what you do. have fun!! :)

  15. Go to the teen club on the ship, or look around at the popular hang out places

  16. Its pretty easy, they have a game room in cruises plsu try swimming and playing ping pong with them. All of th kids eventually gather together and hang out. Its a really fun time!

  17. Make small talk with kids your age at the pool if you see another girl all alone go say hi maybe ask where some place is even if you already know but dont be to suttle they may think to much small talk will lead to friendship :)

  18. I think there'd be an activities centre somewhere, where they organize activities and things to do for younger people...check those out, and just talk to people, but as friendly as possible...You can't go wrong if you're nice to people...Have a good time

  19. just start with small talk about the boat or something or maybe ask where they're from?  just start a convo and then you'll meet ppl really easily

  20. walk over and introduce yourself, get into conversation, talk about things you like.Participate in ship activities and have fun.

  21. Carnival cruises have a club for kids ages 12-14 called Circle C.  When you get on the ship you will most likely be given infomation by a crew member about an orientation type thing that they have the first night.  If you go and are outgoing, you will no doubt make friends that will last for a long time.

  22. Carnival has a teen club.  There are some planned activities.  You'll have a chance to meet kids your age very early in the trip.

I was on a Carnival cruise in November.  The younger teens were hanging together in packs for most of the time, having a great time.  You'll find that you can be with your family just enough, and with new friends just enough.  You'll have a great time.

  23. easy, you just say hi act polite, and be your self

  24. You find someone that looks interesting. Then you walk up to them and say "Hi, my name is ___, and you are?" and then you continue the conversation to find common interests. If you click, that's great. If not, that's okay, there are others.
