I'm 13 and 5'2 i will get any taller?

Question

I'm have an aspiration to become a professional model and i was worried that i wouldn't get any taller because my mother is 5'3 and my father 5'6 or 7 because in the modeling you have to be at least 5'7

there is a good chance you are not done growing at age 13.  Since both parents are considered "short", there is a good chance you probably won't be "tall", but you never know. I have known people that are still growing at 18.

Most girls don't stop growing until ages 18-20, so chances are, you will get taller.  But don't set your goals on something you have no control over.  Just because you're 5'7 doesn't mean you can be a model, its just not that easy.  Besides, you are never guaranteed to have a steady income.  Its a risky busy.  You can still aspire to become one, but in the meantime, set some more realistic goals.  I know you don't want to hear it, but sticking to your school work will be very beneficial to you.  The knowledge that you receive can never be taken away and you can use it in many ways.  Knowledge can give you the financial stability you want, not modeling.

YES! You will! I thought I wouldnt get any taller when I was 11. I was so scared I would be! Then within a year I grew like 3 inches. I'm 5'6 now! You need to be logical. Your hips need to be in "porportion" to your hieight. Are your hips small? Then yeah your hips and height will get taller/bigger. Teehee!!

ah i have the same prob as u. im 14 and 5 2 and my moms 5 5 and my dads 5 10. im not sure how tall you could get im guessing from 5 4 to 5 7. sorry i know im not very helpfu;.

p.s do u want to be on americas next top model? cause i do and u have to be 5 7.

So far your better than me! I'm 4'11 and I'm around your age! LOL anywho maybe your not right for the runway stuff but who knows maybe you'd be a good commercial model... Contact an agency and ask them about your problem, they are the pros.

Well, I'm 15 and 5'1. Kristin Chenoweth is 39 and 4'11. Everyone grows at their own rate and where it stops is determined by genetics. At 13 you're still growing, so you may or may not reach 5'7.
