I'm 13 and I want to be an actress but i have zero experience what should I do first to get my career going?

I want to know what the 1st step i need to take is?

the 1st step in your career is that you must have self confident and if you have, you start acting in front of your mirror (i know almost all do this stuff) then for a couple of months apply for acting wrokshop to develop more of your skill . ^_^ dont forget me when your already a STAR..cheers!~

put youself on youtube acting. you can also search local comercials and they like if you have past experience being on TV. once you star in a commercial producers will want you to star as a minor character jus pop in for like a minute on a movie or show. also search in the newspapers. i found a play for teens to try out for and i went and got a part. if a producer to a television show wants you to fill out a resemee and they see you have been in comunity plays and have stared in commercials you'll be sure to get a part on a television show. i hope i could help = ]

Check into local theater organizations.  Usually, there are summer plays that you can get involved with.  Even if you are in the chorus or an extra, it will give you experience in front of a crowd.  Then get involved in your school drama program.  Also talk with your mom and/or dad and discuss modeling and commercials.  This can be expensive with pictures and agent costs, so you might want to wait on that.  Also consider getting involved with pageants.  I'm not a huge fan of them, but again, it can give you self confidence being in front of people.  Remember, it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance.  Good luck.

I would take a few acting classes to make sure its really what you want to do. It is also very helpful because they teach you audtioning techiniques and so on. After, find a local theatre and audtion for any eligible roles. You can also check onlince for audtioning oppurtunites in your area. If film is more of your kind of thing, find a talent agent. Its the easiest way. But dont forget college and high school. Thats the mostt important.

start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to  do somethign big go for it!
