I'm 13 and my friend invited me to the bahamass with her for the week, how can i get my parents to let me go?

You'll need to be chaperoned at all times. You will need to carry an operating location device with you at all times.Telephone GPS etc...You will not wear a bikini you will wear a wet suit when in the water.You will not kiss anyone you will not have s*x with anyone. life vests will be worn and I still say you can't go you're to young.

You need to show your parents that you've thought everything through thoroughly. Don't sit down with them and officially ask until you have a game plan. Things they'll want to know that you need to figure out first:

How much will it cost and how do you plan to get the money?

Will you miss any school, and how will you make it up?

Are her parents going to be there, and are they responsible adults? (you may want to have her parents on stand-by to help talk to your folks)

Bottom line: go to them with all of the answers and a game plan. Talk to your friends parents first and get their support, talk to your teachers about missing school and set up a plan to make up work, figure out the money issue and THEN talk to your parents. TRUST ME. I survived many years under the harsh reign of overprotective parents and learned how to work the system. ;)

Well seeing that in the news they had that little gal go somewhere out of the country and get killed I can see why your parents do not want you going!

Why not stay in the USA and go somewhere? At least if you get in trouble they can just go get you. You are 13!! Just a baby!!
