Forget the jobs, you are far too young to be working. Consentrate on your education, get some good qualifications. Go to University get a degree, then think of employment. Good luck!

You won;t be able to get a proper job until you are 16.  Until then it is only paper rounds, dog walking, mowing the lawn.  I think it is illegal for you even to babysit!

Do you have a hobby like making something (crafts, jewelry), growing plants and selling them (take cuttings for example and root them), taking care of cats/dogs/small animals while people are on vacation, assist older people for an hour or two a week, find answers on the computer for people who don't know how to google, write a blog on being a 13 yr old trying to start a small business.  So many things you can do!!  Good luck!  Think 'outside the box' and you might do better than other teens doing the same old thing.

Maybe you could get a paper round or go round the neighbourhood and ask people if they need any odd jobs doing such as mowing the lawn or washing the car. When i was 13, i made money by walking the neighbours dogs every night.

There are strict laws set out by your local education autority (LEA) that tell you what you can and can't do, what times you are allowed to work and that kind of thing. At 13 you may struggle to find an employer willing to take you on because of these strict laws. But these laws are put there for your own welfare. Contact your local LEA (Your local council i.e. Staffordshire County Council) who will be able to tell you what you can do. I think at 13, your main option is a paper round until you get a bit older.

That's about the only one you can get at 13.  At 15 you can get a dishwashing job at some cafes, but check to see if you can do it earlier.  Good luck!
