I'm 13 and probably getting my lobes pierced at Libby Lu?

I'm kind of nervous. I heard that if you can handle waxing, you can handle ear piercing...is that true?

And no horror stories.

UGH! i hope not! im getting mine pierced soon im so nervous. my cousin got it done when she was four and laughed so im guessing it doesnt

If it's your first hole, you'll be fine. I got mine done when I was 4! Here, just pinch your ear kinda hard and thats about all the more it'll hurt! I'm getting my third hole done today and I'm 14 (:

Okay, so it doesn't hurt at all. The lady showed me how much it hurt before my piercing and she said it was just like a tiny pinch. She was right. It was way fast and didn't even hurt.

The pain isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

I'd say it is true for the waxing thing, but it does depend on what you have waxed.

ear piercing is nothing like getting waxing honestly!  the piercing feels like a big pinch or a bee sting it just depends. i got my lobes pierced 4 times and they didn't hurt at all i just got both of my tragus pierced aug 28, 08 and they didn't hurt either. honestly it just depends on your pain tolerance is a big part of it as well.

myself i rather get a piercing then getting waxed!

well, im 13 too and i got my ears pierced 3 times in each ear and it just feels like ur ears being stapled! waxings waaay unpainful what u talkin about?

it doesnt hurts its like a pinch then a 1 min ache than thats it.

ive had my cartalidge pierced twice and that didnt hurt so dont worry

its known that the lobe iis the least painfull place to get peirced.

just clean it 2x a day wiv anteseptic cleanser and ull be ok

Trust me, it doesnt hurt. I got my second piercing and when they did it i barley knew it happened. It hurt for maybe 2 seconds-if that. No worries :)

it's SO painless! i was six years old when i got mine done, and i hardly felt a thing! something that you can do that really helps is to ask for two people to pierce them at the same time. it works great! good luck!

oh, I'm really sorry to hear you getting your ears pierced but don't worry, its a wonderful thing to be able to wear earrings later so don't worry, just forget about the horrible fate that awaits you, the needle is.nt that sharp, its just a bit sharper than a needle thats all, the pain won't last for that long...well it will but slowly the pain will ease. You might need to have a tissue beside you because it can spill a lot of blood since its the earlobes! Don't worry....

don't worry about it. if you get worked up then it will just seem worse...trust me that's what i did. i have 3 holes and by the second i didn't even know she did it. it's just a little sting for a couple of seconds. personally i would go to somewhere like piercing pagoda or somewhere a little more professional than libby lu...but i am sure it would be fine at libby lu too. Ok hope i helped...good luck and don't get worked up...it's not worth it.

Don't worry at all - it's just a bit of a pinch and then it's over.

If you're overly-anxious, then ask for 2 people to do the piercings, similtaneously.  If they can do it that way, you'd have it done in half the time.  

But honestly, you feel that pinch and then your ear gets kinda' warm and it's done!
