I'm 13 weeks pregnant?

Question

I went to the doc on monday and got my first ultrasound. I was sooo excited!!! one thing got to me. the doc confused me because he said the baby looks like its 14 weeks. I'm only confused because i slept wit my boyfriend for the first time right after my period. do you think that could be confusing things? I had a normal period and am positive of my start date. am i just being confused for no reason?

Its early yet they will give you a better idea about everything later in your pregnancy nothing to be confused about.

I was told that the early ultrasound certainly can be off by 1 or 2 weeks. You're probably the better judge of when you actually conceived. ;-)

I was TTC this baby. I went in for my u/s measured a week ahead. Somethimes its normal.baby may just be big

well if its only for a week i believed its very hard to find out the exact day when u conceived... just relax... go to this website.. www.babycenter.com

ultrasounds arn't 100% accurate. they can be a week or so off

Confused for no reason.  The dates they predicted I conceived I didn't even have s*x.  A week is not bad.  When I was 36 weeks to one doc, I was measured 35 to another.

A week either side of your due date doesn't really matter.

Babies have growth spurts in the womb so it could just mean he/she had a slight growth spurt so was measuring a little bigger.

I went when I was 12 weeks and the baby measured like 13 weeks, so no worries.
