  1. It depends how much money you're talking about. If you not talking about thousands of pounds (or dollars. It depends where you live) then you can take a paper round (in the UK this is the only legal job you can take when you're under 16. Again, it's different in other countries). Or you can buy and sell things on eBay, this could be a great source of income. You could offer to babysit or do jobs for neighbours and family friends.

  2. If there's anything I have learned over the years, it's that all money takes time and hard work. Don't do any get-rich-quick schemes. I am 18 now and have already worked several jobs over the years. I think I started at your age doing a paper route in my area. I made pretty good money at it. I think I made about $250-$300/month for about 35-40 houses. I also worked at boyscout summer camps for two summers . You have to be 14 to do that though. I then worked at Wendy's when I was 16 and quit two months later. Don't EVER do fast food!!!! I have now been working at Target for 2 years and it has treated me well. I make $8/hour for about 20-25 hours per week.

For your age, I would recomend a paper route above all. You could also ask around to baby-sit. Being Mormon, I also made good money by asking people at church if I could baby-sit their kids. If you don't go to a church, you could make fliers or call people in your neighborhood. Since it's now summer, you could offer to mow people's lawns and charge like $15/lawn. You could make $30 for one house!! You could also water people's lawns, walk people's dogs, or anything you can think of really. Ask your parents if you could do things for them to earn money.

  3. Since you can't really get a "job", just do odd ends around the house for your parents, shovel neighbour's driveway in winter and cut grass in the summer.

  4. Ask your parents if you can get paid for doing things around the house.

  5. Hi Big B. You could try doing things like mowing lawns, walking dogs, babysitting. Or you could try an alternative of making money online.

One type of site that's popular with teens that are unable to get jobs or just looking for ways to make money are "Get Paid To" sites.

The site that I'm a member of is called CashCrate, the minimum age is 13 to join as well. Basically with these sites it's completely free to join and use, what you do is fill out free surveys and offers...they pay anywhere from $.25-5.00+ depending on which you do. It's very easy to make over $100 a month on these sites.

If you would like to know more information you can visit my Squidoo page that has proof of payments.
