topamax for my harsh migrains. i can not stand it anymore. it makes me wanna commit sucide. my mom dont want me to take it because it's suppose to help you loose weight. that would be two thumbs up for me! i am gonna tell my doctor i wanna take topamax.... although my mom will nudge right in and tell her she dont want me to take it. what should i tell my mom??? i really wanna take this med. what have you expirenced on topamax or what do you know about it?

Umm what's wrong with taking a migrane medicine? IF you're that worried, ask your doctor.  They should know.  You know on the package, it say something like "If you're under 18, ask your doctor about correct doseage."  Don't be a noob.  Just read the frickin package.  It's not that hard.  Jesus YOU give me a migrane.  READ THE PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! LAzy people these days I swear!!!!!!!!!

You've posted in alternative medicine, so I'll treat your question from this viewpoint.  What we must address first is the cause of your migraines.  Wouldn't you rather eliminate the cause rather than cover up the symptoms?  In alternative medicine we seek to eliminate the obstacle to cure.  I strongly recommend that you do not pursue topamax, instead ask your mother if she'll pay for you to see a licensed Naturopathic physician as it is their philosophy to eliminate the obstacle to cure.  Hope this helps in your decision.
