  1. Sadly, adoption is less likely to happen for a 14 year old than a toddler or a p*****n. That doesn't mean it's impossible. I hope you find what you need.

If you don't like a home because of something serious (like abuse, neglect, etc), you need to contact social services and get out. If you don't like it because of strict rules, not getting what you want, or something trivial.. that happens in every teen's home in America. If you are well-fed, adequately clothed, and have someone who cares what happens to you, try to be happy where you are. Ask for councelling or help if you need someone to talk to.

    Best wishes to you..

  2. maybe you should tell them how u really feel...

  3. Well, you first have to be a ward of the state to be adopted.  And why would you not like a home?  As far as your chances of being adopted...it's possible but not likely.

  4. i'm not sure how the adoption thing works but if your not happy in a place your staying, you should sit down and talk with the foster parents or socail services...but have to have a good reason. also i guess your rate is as good as anyother child not as great as a 2yr old but you still have hope so don't get all sad and stuff ither way with god in your path u'll find the perfect foster parents soon and love everything about them i love both my parents though their devorced ..... never give up!

    good luck girl.

  5. I really hope that someone adopts you, but I can't see how acting up would help your cause. Where you are now is a safe haven and I hope you're looked after, but out on your own is no fun and definitely not safe. Try to hang in there and like I say I hope someone comes for you. Just a thought, have you ever tried advertising yourself as you never know.

  6. well im a foster child and dyffs sux for nj but if its ur biological family then aslong as ur safe and physically and there emotionally stable then u should be lucky . but if not talk to ur case worker they should be able to change that and finf another place for u and its not as slim of a chance u in the state of nj and most other states u can stay in a foster home for a year then you hav to get adopted , unless there are other foster homes . but then there is other case plans like klg (kinship legal gardianship) which u stay with a foster home but still get visits, with parents, and then there is closed odption, which u can have no relationship, but other family members have first dibbs. if u want to live with them oh then there is a plan were u can liv on ur own and dyfffs checks up on u and u have to be 16 or 17

  7. no my cousin was adopted when he was 14, so dont worry!!

cant you just tell someone you dont like the place your living in! and they will take you out!?!

    hope i helped you!! x

  8. we're considering adopting a teenager, so you do still have a chance. We need someone who's good around toddlers, so anyone who "needs to be the youngest" if they're over a year isn't going to work for us.

  9. Please don't act up...  I do understand why you think that would be best--  but it could make things worse.  If you are unhappy with the family you are placed with tell your social worker, okay?

Never give up hope, I think your chances of being adopted are good.  Be honest with the social worker... and please don't "act" anything.  If you are happy be happy, if you are sad be sad...  talk to your foster parents and keep the lines of communication open.

  10. Ur chances of getting adopted r still rather high & if ur new family luvd u , u wouldnt b moving from home 2 home. Just act really sweet. & if u dont like ur new home, just talk 2 the family & they might understand.
