I'm 14 And I Want To Get A Job... Few Questions?

i live in California

1:i know i have to get ask my high school for a job permit but how do u get it (what do they ask u what do have to do to get it etc)

2:okay imagine you own those small stores that u see in cheap shopping centers okay would you hire a 14 year old that is willing to work for 10 dollars a day i would vacuum put there clothes in their racks and clean up small things like that

3:any tips on what i should do act dress when i go ask if i could work htere

1) can you work in California at 14?

2)$10 a day is a steal. Why not ask for minimum wage?

everyone loves an ambitious person.

3) Dress neatly. Don't wear sneakers or t shirts. if you're a girl ,

wear a nice pair of slacks and a blouse.

1) Go to the main office of your High School and ask them for Working Papers. You then fill out those papers at some point and return them to the same place, bringing along a Doctor's Note saying you had a physical, a copy of your Birth certificate, and your Social Security Card.

2) Only $10 a day? I think you could get a job working ANYWHERE for $10 a day. If you meant $10 an hour, then I think your sights are too high. You'll be lucky to find a job at minimum wage, let alone $10 an hour.

3) Dress business-casual. Don't have like a mini-skirt on  and a halter top or something. Look presentable. And be polite and respectful to whoever you're talking to there. You never know when the manager might be watching. You wanna give off a good first impression.

When I was 14, I cut lawns and raked leaves and shoveled snow for a few bucks.

Don't complicate this kid. Just hustle and save.
